The Department of Transport (NATIS)  has updated its fees chargeable by the RTMC (Road and Traffic management corporation) providing clarity around its contentious booking fees.

Since A previous fee of the regulations was a R250 online booking fee for the renewal of a credit card format driving licence. while some groups including the Automobile Association (AA) claimed that the fee was too high and the department was after profits.
